Commercial Ultraviolet Ozone Generator

Ultraviolet germicidal light is the ultimate solution in controlling algae, slime, odors, virus and bacteria in commercial applications. UV has been used and proven to work in many installations where proofing of yeast dough, storage of open draft beer kegs, or high humidity present problems.

Our UV units are designed to effectively sterilize areas where airborne bacteria causes algae and slime in ice machines. They also reduces offensive odors in small room areas and walk-in refrigerators and eliminate virus and bacteria in air conditioning ventilation systems.

An ozone machine should be mounted in an area near the trouble zone, but away from water splash. The inside side wall near the vent openings is an ideal location for an ice machine. Place near the intake fan in a walk-in or reach-in refrigerator. Place just inside the return air duct for a ventilation system. A power outlet is necessary within about 3 feet. Always mount unit in vertical position. The ozone generated is not harmful to the atmosphere, and will dissipate rapidly.

The natural air movement will carry the ozone into contaminated areas for complete kill of bacteria, virus or spores. Do not place inside of ice bin. For bins, use UV-12F mounted on outside of bin and direct ozone into bin area.

All units have a 1 year warranty on electronics and power converter. UV bulb life is approximately 9,000 hours and should be replaced every 12 months.
